Instrumental Music

Music is not just open to vocalists. Westminster has several persons gifted with the ability to provide instrumental music in the service of the Lord, and anyone who can play an instrument is welcome to join them. The Westminster Ensemble meets every Sunday afternoon at 4:30 for rehearsals. Speak with Music Director Judy Lockwood for more details.

Westminster has always had a strong presence in the community, supporting such diverse organizations as the Boy Scouts, the Girl Scouts, Habitat for Humanity, Cherished Children Day Care Center, the Warner Robins Soup Kitchen, Narcotics Anonymous, the Relay for Life Cancer Walk, and the Operation Christmas Child shoebox program. For information on any of these ministry opportunities, please speak with the pastor.

Parish Nurse program

Westminster offers to its members a Parish Nurse program, which sponsors basic health screening, information, and comfort to those who may need a listening ear and a calming influence. Anyone who has a health services background is welcome to participate in this program. For more details, please speak with the Church Office.

Volunteer Service

A Christian congregation exists through the hard work of volunteers. Westminster offers many different opportunities for service to the church, such as Sunday School teacher, youth advisors, building and grounds upkeep, worship assistance (ushering, scripture reading, greeting, etc.), church library work, and Vacation Bible School volunteer. Your work will be welcomed and appreciated. Speak with the pastor for more details.
